WORLD SOCCER INSTITUTE’s YOUTH ACADEMY 5 KEY PATHWAYS FOR PLAYER SUCCESS:

World Soccer Institute’s Youth Academy program for Girls is designed for elite youth soccer players that play in the age groups: u12 through u19. At World Soccer Institute’s Youth Academy, our goal is to educate young players to become the best in the game.

MOTTO: WE DO THE IMPOSSIBLE!

Our 5 Key Pathways for Player Success are:

  1. PARTICIPATION IN USA BASED COMPETITIONS and INTERNATIONAL GAMES & TOURNAMENTS

World Soccer Institute’s Youth Academy will participate in competitive games with top clubs around the world. International competition will be the cornerstone of the World Soccer Institute’s Youth Academy player development philosophy at advanced and technical skills level. Our u12-u19 teams will travel at a minimum of 3 times each year and will participate in competitions in North America, Africa, Europe, China, Russia, South America and Latin America.

  1. PURPOSE-DRIVEN and PLAYER-FOCUSED INDIVIDUALIZED TECHNICAL SKILLS TRAINING

World Soccer Institute’s Youth Academy teams will spend a greater amount of time focused on individualized technical skills training to improve as individuals and as a team. Our teams and players will receive direct feedback and evaluations from our Coaching staff. To round out the complete training environment, all Academy players will be tested in their physical capabilities using The World Soccer Institute’s Total Soccer Player Methodology© which encompasses and includes among others, an advanced technical skills and training curriculum that includes the following areas:

Advanced dribbling techniques in and out of pressure; Aerial ball control in and out of tight spaces; Advanced passing & receiving techniques; Ball distribution and control techniques at varying distances and degrees; Defending in 1v1 situations from different angles of play; Attacking principles in the offensive third;  Turning & ball striking technique; Finishing technique off crosses; Dynamic and functional technique phases and progress; From Functional technique to individual tactics; Set pieces; Mobility; Cover; Pressure

  1. TRAIN, PRACTICE & PLAY GAMES IN A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT

World Soccer Institute’s Youth Academy program will compete with top Youth Academies around the world. All Games are played according to FIFA’s Laws of the Game and officiated by a pool of the globe’s top young referees in order to prepare players for the next level of competition. National Team and International scouts regularly will attend our Youth Academy games and players will be evaluated over the course of the season and in their natural positions, allowing for better player assessment. All World Soccer Institute’s Youth Academy practices will be designed, managed, led and conducted by USSF, United Soccer Coaches/NSCAA, and UEFA licensed and coaches

  1. INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS + INTERNATIONAL SYSTEMS OF PLAY

World Soccer Institute’s Youth Academy will partner with top soccer clubs and Youth Academies around the world. Our Youth soccer players will be exposed to different Soccer styles and systems of play globally: African (Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Cameroon, Egyptian, Algerian, Moroccan) , European (British, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Russian, Ukrainian), South American (Brazilian, Colombian, Argentinian; Uruguayan; Chilean); North American (USA; Canadian; Mexican); Asian (South Korean; Chinese; Japanese)

5. PLAYING UP IS MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS

World Soccer Institute’s Youth Academy teams are paired to play up automatically. This improves the quality of overall play as all players are mentally and physically challenged and overall development improves.

All teams are paired to play up one year as teams train together and are paired up in all practices: For example u12s will play up and be paired with u13s in practices; u14s with play up and be paired with u15s in practices; u16s will play up and be paired with u17s in practices; and u18s will play up and be paired with u19s in practices
